Daydreams

Painting makes me free. Free to express my thoughts and emotions within a safe space. A space where I get in touch with my thoughts, ideas, and emotions. 

Certainly, the thought process helps awareness and the importance of taking ownership and responsibility yourself.

I personally have found that the boundaries surrounding us often are created and made thicker and tighter by ourselves and its by self-awareness we ultimate have a chance to live a happy and content life.

I have painted 3 oil sketches on board using manly the colour green.

For me the colour green represents the feeling of uneasiness, and the white flesh leaves me feeling sick and pushed up against a corner with limited space for escape.

The texture in the work help to give nuances in both the work as well as represent nuances within all of our lives both literally as well as emotionally. 

The bird represent hope. Hope to be free. Free to fly above and beyond our current place of life.
